Raptor and I went out and took some bluebonnet pics this mornings. 🙂
It’s amazing what a small pack of m&ms will get you in the way of preschooler cooperation.
Crafting and kids.
At least, it’s finished for now. I might end up designing some more pages later. I emailed the girl I bought the original files from to see if she minds me sharing pics of my modified ones here on the blog. Hopefully she gets back to me soon! I did post a pic on twitter of the dividers that I made if anyone wants to go check that out. 🙂 I used paper from The Pier, the tab stickers from October Afternoon’s 9 to 5 collection, and then laminated them to make them sturdier. I’m loving the result.
Talk about some old paper. I’m pretty sure I bought this when Kate was a baby and she’s 4 1/2 now. It’s Basic Gray Lilykate.
It felt good to be using up some of my older paper! I’m trying not to buy anything for a while and just “shop my stash.” I’m also trying to purge as a go, so if I find something I know I won’t use, I’m pitching it.
This page came together pretty easily. I just inked the edges, added a few tags, and some washi tape. I colored the wood veneer butterflies with some colored pencils. Oh, and can I just say that I love the chunky glitter thickers? Because I totally do. 🙂
I really want to finish 2013 before the end of March. Can it be done? Maybe! I’ve done 5 layouts in the last week, so there’s certainly hope. 🙂
Since I’m in major catch up mode, I’m keeping them even more simple than usual. I’m trying to get a full time teaching job next year (fingers crossed!) and I would love to be as caught up as possible since I know that my crafting time will be much more limited. 🙂 I can always go back and fancy these up if I decide I want to later before I print them, but at least this way I have the bones of the layouts done.
Oh, and if you do Project Life digitally, I just scored the Cherry Edition for free! If you’ve been considering making the switch to digital, or just starting the project in the first place, check it out!
